The Full Moon Theatre Charity

7 July 2026

We are excited to share that our Full Moon Theatre is now officially registered as a UK charity.

This marks an important milestone in the next chapter of our journey. Founded on the vision of Humbert Camerlo and Peter Rice, the Full Moon Theatre has always been more than a theatre project. It is a living laboratory where art, science, engineering and architecture come together to explore new ways of creating performances illuminated only by the light of the full moon.

Becoming a registered charity strengthens our commitment to preserving and sharing this unique legacy while expanding our educational work through workshops, research, performances and our growing open-access Full Moon Theatre Library. It also enables us to continue developing low-carbon approaches to performance and to bring together an international community of artists, researchers, engineers, architects and makers.

We are grateful to everyone who has supported the project over the years and helped shape its evolution.

Our trustees are: Francesco Anselmo, Alexandre Camerlo and Yunni Cho.

Thank you to everyone who has believed in this project.

We look forward to continuing this journey together and creating many more performances under the moonlight!
