We’re thrilled to share that our March workshop will take the next step in bringing our moonlit theatre dream to life! This exciting event will focus on actualizing a production for real performances, and we couldn’t be happier to collaborate with two incredible Dorset-based theatre companies: Teatro Vivo and Angel Exit Theatre.
Together, we’ll gather for a few days of creative exploration to craft a piece we hope will resonate far beyond this moment. Drawing inspiration from the iconic Three Witches of Macbeth, we’ll reimagine these fascinating figures—connected to their wild surroundings, conjuring their magic under the glow of the moon, and letting the stories of Macbeth and the natural world merge and unfold.
Both Teatro Vivo and Angel Exit Theatre bring extensive expertise in creating site-specific, immersive theatre that interacts beautifully with its audience and surroundings. We’re also excited to explore how the beauty of light and shadow can breathe life into this piece, weaving an enchanting connection between the audience, the setting, and the performance.
We’re also excited to welcome the wonderful Rosamond Martin to our creative team!
Rosamond is a movement director, choreographer, somatic therapist, and maker and facilitator of participatory events; she brings over 20 years of experience spanning dance, circus, theatre, installation, and immersive performance, guiding participants to explore movement, storytelling, and improvisation in a shared creative space. Under Rosamond’s expert facilitation, we will focus on deepening our collaborative process, uncovering the magic that emerges when we co-create under the moonlit sky, and shaping a collective performance experience that resonates well beyond this moment.
